Catechism relating to the Electric Train Tablet or Electric Train Staff, Also Ordinary Train Staff and Ticket Systems - 1937 - In order that employees may understand the Instructions relating to the electric train tablet or electric train staff, also ordinary train staff and ticket systems, the accompanying list of questions and answers have been formulated for their guidance.
It is to be understood by all concerned that this Catechism having reference to the Regulations in the various text-books is only for the purpose of assisting members of the staff to more readily acquire a knowledge of the subject contents both of these books and of the book of Rules and Regulations, for examination purposes. This Catechism is NOT to be regarded as an authority for any course of action on the part of members of the staff who, in the performance of their duties, must act strictly in conformity with what is prescribed in the book of Rules and Regulations or in other text books and instructions supplementary thereto which are issued from time to time. Samples of forms in use are included at the back of this Catechism. Employees should study the questions and answers carefully, and refresh their memory frequently, so that they will be thoroughly conversant with the course of action necessary in case of emergency. - ©Railcorp 1938 |
